Back like I never went out of style.

It's strange--stepping off the plane somehow caused two semesters of college to just evaporate off of me. It's been two days since I flew back home, and already I feel like I never left. I'm picking up where winter break left off. I have to remind myself how temporary my situation is, how a few days ago I was on the opposite coast and how a few months from now I'll be back there again. But I don't know. I feel completely at home and am weirded out by how nothing has changed, from the contents of my parents' fridges to the way my friends and I interact.
I love being back with my old friends, though. It's awesome how we can just reconnect after such a long absence. I hope I don't lose touch with any more people than I already have--I couldn't bear it.
