On movies.

"You're not a guy...The world is full of guys.  Be a man.  Don't be a guy."
A great line, and advice I wish more people would take.
If you don't know what movie that's from, ask me, but be prepared for a severe chastizing.  Not only is it the best romantic comedy ever, the main character raised the bar for males everywhere.  Probably when I'm forty I'll still be making comparisons between that fictional character and the real-life guys I date.  Which is a little sad, but that's what a good movie can do to you.
Speaking of favorite movies...It was devastating to see Jason Lee, star of my beloved Mallrats, in Stealing Harvard the other night. That movie and A Guy Thing are nails in his post-Kevin-Smith career coffin.  All he has to do now is appear in something with Hilary Duff.
And speaking of people, real or fictional, named Jason...Do NOT see The Bourne Supremacy.  Unless you like dizziness, headaches and motion sickness, all of which my friends and I suffered both during the movie and long after we left the theater.  I have to admit, though, it's cheaper than getting really drunk and having a bad hangover.
