Wait 'til you see my one-sided misogynist discourse, bitch!

I am not, nor have I ever been, easily offended by language.
Okay, that's not quite true. I started swearing in first grade, when I spilled a container of markers and shouted "Jesus Christ!" A severe reprimand from both my teacher and my parents (unfair really, as it had been my mother who, in stubbing her toe in my presence, introduced me to this new vocabulary) scared me off of coarse language for the next five or six years. It took my fifth grade classmates a week to get me to say "fuck," and when I finally did so, blushing a deep shade of red, I wondered what horrible retribution would be exacted upon me.
After an extensive reprogramming regimen that included four years of public high school, South Park, American Pie and the Offspring song "Bad Habit," I am now able to chant "Awww skeet skeet motherfucker!" with everybody else.
But.
I found out today that everybody draws the line somewhere, and I draw mine at "Ay bitch, wait 'til you see my dick/I'mma beat dat pussy up like BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM..."
Honestly, WHY? What is the point? While I acknowledge that "Ay bitch, wait til you see my dick" may be the underlying message in many if not all rock, pop and hip-hop songs, most artists have the decency--and the creativity--not to come right out and say it.
Not to mention the sheer misogyny of it all. Even if the Ying Yang Twins were trying to make a twisted ironic statement with "Wait (The Whisper Song)", there's no way the teenage boys listening to it are going to hear it as such.
Call me a prude, but I look back fondly on the days when songs were actually respectful of women. I mean, just listen to Tenacious D's "Fuck Her Gently." The world might be a kinder, better place if the Ying Yang Twins, instead of instructing men to "beat dat pussy up," advised them to "fuckin' give her some smoochies too."
