Yawn.

I had to leave work an hour and a half early (not that I actually have hours, but I try to stick to a schedule. If this were just regular homework I wouldn't, but this is work they're paying me for!) because I was so tired I could've fallen asleep on the library floor. I actually did lie down there for a few minutes, staring up at the stacks. I had a distinct mental picture of the janitors rounding a corner a few months from now and seeing a cobweb-covered skeleton surrounded by The Complete Works of N. G. Cherneshevsky. Well, I thought, at least it would be a dignified death.
So I'm back in my room, trying to decide if a nap would make me more or less tired. I don't know what it is--I got nine hours of sleep last night. Maybe my body's stuck in Lethargic Mode because of the lack of things to do. I'm trying to organize a barbecue for everyone here, but the housing director won't tell me who's here or give out their e-mail addresses. Conversely, the administration can e-mail anyone they want, anywhere they want, anytime they want. Do they think "Now offering opportunities in the Career Office" is more useful than "Come outside, eat food and drink beer"? Misguided fools.
