Thoughts on guys.

Surprise, surprise, the cute Australian barista I gave my number to when I thought I'd lost my keys still has not called. A memo to all you single ladies out there: Accidental pickup lines don't work! I mean, maybe if I'd lowered my shirt's neckline a bit, sidled up to him and, in a breathy voice, said, "I believe you have something of mine. Please, please call me at this number if *sultry smile* anything turns up?" Haha. Yeah, I'd do that.
I thought my dream summer fling would be to find a brainy yet sexy UMass guy at the library where I do my research, and take him to my private study carrell. That was before I realized that "brainy yet sexy UMass guy" is a contradiction in terms, and my carrell's so small that to do anything but study in there would leave serious bruises.
So now my best chance to meet guys I don't know is a wedding that a couple of random Hampshire College students invited me to. Apparently their friends are new to the area and don't know enough people for a satisfactory guest list, so they're inviting people off the street. If I end up going, I'll have three weddings to attend in two months. Wonderful. But this would be the only one with the potential for single college guys.
One track mind? Me? Noooo.
